About the role

Our Dutch and Belgian websites are visited by hundreds of thousands of shoppers every month who rely on us to tell a real bargain from marketing noise. As Content Editor you decide what they see: you hunt down the best deals and discount codes, check them, and publish them with a clear, honest description.

What you will do

  • Find and publish the best deals of the day on Spydeals.nl and Spydeals.be, and keep Vouchercodes.nl and Promokortingscode.be up to date with valid discount codes.
  • Check every offer before it goes live: price history, shipping costs, conditions and whether a code actually works.
  • Write short, clear deal descriptions in Dutch, without exaggeration or clickbait.
  • Follow the big shopping moments — Black Friday, Sinterklaas, Christmas, summer sales — and plan content ahead of them.
  • Work with our partnerships team on exclusive codes and featured campaigns for retailers.
  • Keep an eye on community feedback and update or expire deals that are no longer valid.

What we are looking for

  • Native Dutch speaker with excellent written Dutch; good written English for team communication.
  • You know the Dutch and Belgian web shop landscape (bol, Coolblue, MediaMarkt, Zalando, Amazon.nl and the smaller shops).
  • A critical eye: you can spot a fake discount or a misleading "was" price.
  • Accurate and consistent, also when publishing many deals per day.
  • Able to work independently and remotely, with a reliable internet connection.

Nice to have

  • Experience in e-commerce, deal or price comparison websites, or affiliate marketing.
  • Familiarity with a CMS, Google Sheets and basic image editing.
  • Understanding of SEO copywriting.
